I have been dating a guy for just over three weeks. We were both upfront with our intentions from the start both want a long term relationship and have similar goals eg travelling, starting a family. Organising to catch up can be difficult because he works early and very long hours which leaves him exhausted by the night…. We slept together on the fourth date which I initiated but afterwards I regretted as I thought that I had rushed things. We communicate mainly through txt and he messages me several times everyday to check in and ask how I am. We may go a couple of days without seeing each other and he will let me know he misses me and is keen to catch up soon as possible. He introduced me to his parents and I have had dinner and stayed over. He had admitted that he really likes me and is happy with our dating progress so far. Sounds great so far right?

I’m at the brink of my sanity. I made the stupid mistake of starting a relationship with someone who previously rejected my proposal, to have multiple sexual encounters with multiple other men. She was my first and i wasn’t hers. That should have been a deal breaker for me but i wanted to be able to look past that. We dated for some months and i fell in love. I then found out she had a bf and that they were at odds because he cheated and had a child on the way.
She eventually broke things off with me to commit to him and give them another chance. I was broken, not only because she left me but because she told me every reason why he was better. He was older, more mature, understood her, and offered her more than i did. Added to that i had earlier foolishly asked her how i measured up and she said i was ‘small.
It didnt last long before i realised that life was no fort me. Anyways, she would always call me periodically to check up and i told her to stop as it gave me false hope. It reached a point where i would answer and cold shoulder her till she gave up n hung up. Some months passed like this till one day she called really sad and wanting to talk.
